My favorite place..

I've heard a saying that has stayed with me. A sister said her favorite place in her home was the kitchen because that's where her family had lots of memories. Many of my family memories revolve around food. Dibbleicious cookies... need I say more. In an attempt to work on my cooking skills I am going to try and post different recipes I attempt to make.
Here is one I did last week: Crescent Dogs

Where did I find the recipe: On the side of the crescent rolls can.
Crescent Dogs

Crescent rolls update the popular "pig-in-blanket" concept, along with a yummy surprise: melted cheese in each frank.
Prep Time: 10 Min
Total Time: 25 Min
Makes: 8 sandwiches

INGREDIENTS:
8 hot dogs
4 slices (3/4 oz each) American cheese, each cut into 6 strips
1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
DIRECTIONS:
1. Heat oven to 375°F. Slit hot dogs to within 1/2 inch of ends; insert 3 strips of cheese into each slit.
2. Separate dough into triangles. Wrap dough triangle around each hot dog. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, cheese side up.
3. Bake at 375°F. for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Wrigley's Mansion

I think I've seen the most beatiful sunset at the prettiest place. My collegues and I went to a teacher expo held at the Wrigley's Mansion. The place was so cool! I love the blue shutters and balcony barriers. I loved the views. Here are some pictures:

I've been thinking....

Most you might have heard about Stephanie Nelson and her husband. They were in an airplane crash last month. The story is moving and even more touching is what a wonderful person this Nie Nie (Stephanie) is. I’ve heard bits and pieces of this story but never really took the time to look into it – haven’t had a lot of time between church, work, eating, and sleeping. Luckily my mom is tuned in and ever since we have looked at her blog I have been thinking about this family. She seems like a fun loving cute mom, wife, and friend. She takes the time to celebrate the little things in life that often mean the most which sometimes can be tossed to the back burner. I know Heavenly Father has heard the many prayers on behalf of this family and will continue to hear the many more.
