This is the day I have been waiting for over a year! I have listened to the CD countless times!! I was so excited the whole time I was at ASU’s Gammage Auditorium and even the whole day, even when I got drenched by the rain on my way to class. It was raining sideways!! Whitney captures my excitement wonderfully on her blog. I also got an awesome shirt that says Defy Gravity. It was such an amazing performance!! I don’t think I can even begin to describe how I felt. When Elphaba walked on stage everyone clapped, including me, (yes I was the first one to start clapping!!). I don't think I realized I was actually there until Elphaba sang, "The Wizard and I". That was fantastic! That song was awesome!! All of the songs were perfect!! Before the show got started I went to get a closer look at the stage and while I was admiring the set up an usher told me, “You know who the real fans are because they are wearing green!” I just grinned and nodded!! The performers all did an amazing job! Here are their bios.
