Scanner

A couple of days ago Dad and I hooked up our new scanner, copier, printer.  I've been having lots of fun scanning in some photos.

Happy Easter!

What a wonderful day!  We had General Conference in the morning and afternoon.  The speakers all did a great job.  I took Sammy for a nice stroll around the neighborhood.  My family got together for dinner.  I made individual fruit pizzas for dessert.  We ate outside and most of the time outside too.

New Camera

I know! It's like the 5th one, but I've been looking for a new camera. It was one GREAT deal from Ritz Camera. I am so excited! It came with two lens, a vertical grip, and more megapixels than the one I was looking at! All good things come to those who wait!!

Boyce Thompson Arboretum

Today my parents, Elliot, Whitney, Stella and I went to the Boyce Thompson Arboretum. It was beautiful weather and scenery. Since it was Valentine's Day they had a chocolate booth and a special flower exhibit. Here are a few pictures of the day. Enjoy.








While we were there we saw tons of dogs. One family had a Great Dane and a Rottweiler mix. When I asked if I could take a picture they said sure but the Great Dane is camera shy. Too funny!

I love my new camera!

Yes I got a new camera (a while ago) and look at what you can do with it. It's called an auction mode. Yes that's my new dog well I am kind of a foster owner. She has stolen my heart! Her name is Samantha (Sammy) and she is a long haired Chihuahua mix.

New photographer to love: Amelia Lyon

I was looking at my favorite photographic website (The Image is Found). They mentioned their photographer friend Amelia Lyon will be helping them out at a wedding. I thought to check her site out and I am glad they did. She's done lots of temple weddings and she has a simliar style to The Image is Found! Check it out!

In checking out Amelia's website I came across Solan Photography and they are based in Arizona! I love photography!

A new DIGITAL Single Lens Reflex (SLR) Camera

What have I been up to you may ask? I've done lots of fun things.

I got my haricut!

I've tried a few new recipes and watched all 4 seasons of 24 (that's another blog).

I also got the Clean and Simple Scrapbooking the sequel book.

AND

Today I got a new digital SLR camera.

It's a Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D.

I am very happy with my purchase and look forward to using it in the future.
